In my latest woodworking project, watch as I show you how to build a Traditional Timber Style Awning with open rafters and an exposed tongue and groove cedar soffit. I made this timber style awning out of cutoffs from the shop, using primarily Western Red Cedar, but also a piece of Douglas Fir. This adds great protection for my new cherry wood shop door!
